We welcome Telefon Tel Aviv, to the Splice family. The former duo and now solo act of Joshua Eustis (following the death of co-founder Charles Cooper in 2009), has been a huge influence in the worlds of IDM, ambient, and glitch music in the vein of other names like Boards of Canada, Autechre and Aphex Twin.
Telefon Tel Aviv has been played over 20 times on NTS, first on 30 September 2012. Telefon Tel Aviv's Telefon Tel Aviv grundades år 1999 av Charles Cooper och Joshua Estis. Telefon Tel Aviv creates experimental electronic music which filters a wide variety of intense emotions through highly advanced sound design. Formed in New Orleans by Joshua Eustis and Charles Cooper, the project made its debut in 2001 with Fahrenheit Fair Enough, a collection of glitchy, melodic IDM instrumentals. Telefon Tel Aviv has one of the most intense sound palettes in electronic music – atmospheric, emotive, swirling and intricate, all at the same time. It’s st Nice IDM album released back in 2001.1.
